My name is Zeljko Blace and I am working in the Multimedia Institute, a relatively small NGO (community based organization) promoting contemporary culture in Zagreb, Croatia (known through it's net culture center "mama", a meeting place of DJs, artists, theorists, activist and sometimes hackers ;) My background is in visual art, while I also occasionally work in new media design and as a TV/radio/newspaper reporter on new media culture. "Professionally" I organize events/programs at mi2, train future web developers, lecture on net.art, and write two grant applications per month in order to maintain the space/programs and initiate local non-commercial new media production.
