A generation beyond cyber-utopias

Wide-spread deployment of information technology over the last decade generated regulatory ideas of unlimited data-flow across national and transnational social divides and structural limitations - generating in turn new homogenised visions of cyber-utopias. However, the historic actualisation of this technological-based development induced normative crises in its own right.

CRITICAL UPGRADE will retrace those changes and shed perspective on the next batch of concepts and practices, on the generation beyond cyber-utopias. This event will include :
