- (for short Mi2), is non profit organisation working predominantly in the fields of new media culture, digital technology R&D&D (research/development/deployment), social activism, cultural managment (policy, advocacy and networking). Founded in 1999 as a spin-off project of Open Society Institute Croatia (actually it's former Internet program), from 2000 works publicly through it's net.culture club "mama". - pro.ba is the multimedia production of the Center for Contemporary Art, Sarajevo. pro.ba produces and distributes original work in video and new media, encourages students and others to realize their own projects using digital technology and provides assistance to artists in creating works. pro.ba offers equipment that enables work and experimentation in video, Internet, multimedia, sound, digital graphics and animation. In order to accumulate funds for artistic and educational projects, pro.ba ventures into commercial production.

- New Media Centre - kuda.org kuda.org is a non-profit organisation of artists, theorists, media activists and researchers in the field of information and communication technologies (ICT). It explores critical approaches towards (mis)using of ICT and emphasizes creative rethinking in raising network society. kuda.org is a content providing platform for new cultural practices, media art production and social layout and wants to establish media literacy and digital ecology in the age of information saturation as well as stimulate debates on many issues that arise around electronic media art and emerging forms of creative uses of technology. kuda.org

- In addition to these members a network of individuals and partner institutions is initiated in order to realise larger programs and desiminate tham in different fields and contxts (especially artistic and educational).

- positioned strongly in the context of South East Europe, as all organisation share a common background and similar context of working in transition.

- How?
- The initial focus of all of the founding members organisations is to extend the already existing wide range of activites to a network level in 2003 (horizontal exspansion - through sharing, exchange and distribution).
- Following initial track a number of billateral projects will be initiated and realised in early 2004 and finally a joint projects of all four organisations will be initiated in the second part of 2004 (vertical exspansion - through joint research and development).
