- Fedor has already secured a subsidy of Xs4all Foundation.
The Licence: - Arrange a meeting later on this year (possibly) june, where 7 people will be able to meet and have flight costs and expences to write a licence
- We are still looking for a lawyer who wants to sponsor a judicial check
- The OSSA could fine tune the manuscript through email contact
- Compile the licence and present it to w3c
Enhancing the network: - In the budget is money for three servers, in Barcelona, Mainz and Amsterdam
Creating a technical implementation - We have money to hire someone to do programming work. My idea about this to create a working manageable network which can used easily by content providers, so not focus too much on technics, but focus on creating something that works and implements the network and is usable.
Regarding the mentioned budget, for it is unclear if the NIM gets it, but as far as Fedor and I can see it the licence part can be achieved anyway.
Re: OSSA program I would also like to discuss things which are more related to content (and where I could help with practical work):
- collecting technical data into knowledgbase (OSSA version of codec-central)
- making a directory of streamers / events / projects / individuals in this field, and for me most interesting
- saving the archives projects which I already discussed with Honor and Adam briefly about necessity of saving important content that was once produced, archived and forgotten ... "screaming archives" would look for these moments and curate them in meaningfull form and save them (when possible) in non-propertarry formats. Actually this is something I am really looking forward to do this ;)
