LUI (Live User Interface) is an experimental software build to provide organic and natural like environment for organizing data, interacting with information and communicating so that all activity of user would influence future interaction patterns and informational structures.
By using different information (mouse gestures, preferred window line up or frequency of use of files and computer) gathered from users and it's daily activity, LUI is using different layers of visualisation and sonification of interfaces to grow and mature.
Metaphors of desktop and folders or webmail and calendar are threaten in more processual way so that environment is maturing, changing and adapting to it's use.
Possible forms:
- desktop with wood like tecture that gets darker on locations where it is more mouse gestures and lighter (sun bleach) where desktop is usualy uncovered
-
- webmail presented as a series of messages, with visual rating depending on number of question marks or time spent answering previous emails from same author...
