IDEA: there could be a music panel discussion around how software/technology has unleashed a glut of electronic music via the internet/CDR labels/CD's/etc and whether or not this is a good thing in terms of a cultural vector (magnitude=signal vs noise i.e. is the plethora of bad music making it hard to get to the good music? and direction=rhizomes/sub-genres/mainstream appropriation/ etc)...
