DF: ...about the residency i am not sure what to say... i feel that i am in some kind of "mobile residency" at mama ever since jul 5, when i came here. the final results are- yes, otogranulator (which may need a little more work), the open-sourcing of libFMedia (see bebits), and lastnotleast these 2 events in lj and zg on 3rd and 4th sep. what is your definition of a residency?

ZB: OK. This needs some explaining to have... I am OK with existing "products" and your "dedicated time" to staying in Croatia. But.... to make this a real residency that relates to Mi2LAB work it would be great if your work could become a part of existing or new projects in Mi2. This means that after you do something here you get help/feedback/cooperation from others also.

Does this mean help Aljosa learn about stuf enough soo he can help you in further develoment (onec you go back to your daily life)? Yes.

Does this mean Gamba? Yes. feal free to ask him in interface/visual wise prototayping or testing or so. It also includes me.... if I ever have enough time to enjoy my favorite OS and video ;)

You can also spend day/two writing some documentation on apps and ask feedback from VJs if thay understand it and if thay are able to use it JUST BY READING DOCUMENTATION PROVIDED.

I would also like to disccuss:

ideas of making multimedia/Video BeOS mailling-list and appropriate WikiWebSite.
plans for 2003 (including possible applications for funding in software development for BeOS Video/Media and also possibility of organising TemporaryMediaLab in a Aprill 2003,Dubrovnik with you coordinating some stuf and inviting some more interesting people from Weimar from either PingFM or P2P streaming developers...)

So as you see this extra days are NOT Bureaucratic NEED, but actually structural need for finallising and maybe reflecting on yours/our experiances that would be basis for further development in new projects (NOW THIS SOUNDS OFFICIAL ;)

DF: i would definitely like to come back for a more resident residency, staying in mama and working on some project with some local context. but my plans for now are comparably fixed:

today) fetch the computer and maybe before i leave _somehow_ try to fix the trouble with ide it has.

tomorrow) move to near graz to oli&astrid to work on the performance/event thing end august-3rd sept) ljubljana 4th sept) zagreb

then) stay in zagreb until we go to ars electronica.

We will see about planning more in next week as I get back zo ZG
