- I'd like to join your list. I'm still an avid BeOS fan, user, and developer, and I've got a bit of experience with video, audio, and multimedia programming. I've worked with Rudolf Cornelissen on BeTVOut, and I've also written a Media node-based live video mixing application (currently unreleased). I lurk on the ogg tarkin developers list, and have an interest in video image processing and compression. I also write x86 assembly language routines with MMX and 3DNow!.
Ultimately, I'd like to help (open)BeOS get an extensible graphics driver architecture, possibly incorporating 3D, DVI, TV-Out, Multiple Monitor, Multiple Graphics Card, Overlay, and AGP support. I've got some good ideas, but, unfortunately, very little time right now... But I'd still like to lurk (and contribute) on your list. :)

- My knowledge of BeOS is limited but slowly growing and concerns video drivers and TVout specifics. I am working on the Matrox, Neomagic and nVidia opensource Haiku driver, also I created BeTVOut (which was my first project for BeOS ever). My plans are to further develop especially the nvidia driver (incorporate TVout, a video-in driver and do more general (library) stuff like DDC/EDID readout and GFT modeline creation). Also it would be nice to helpout (if possible) on creating a TV video consumer node for Matrox and Nvidia cards. I'll just see how far it goes... Doing one step at a time :-)

- working on a couple BeOS media related projects. The biggest one of them is "eXposer" . Currently, I'm very busy on the VideoLAN Client for BeOS interface. VLC is a media player currently capable of playing DVDs and DivX:-) encoded AVIs under BeOS, using hardware overlays and providing reasonably good audio/video synchronity. I'm always interested in BeOS media projects and have some knowledge about programming the MediaKit, which I can share.
